
Friends from Thailand
To further extend Thailand’s role in development cooperation, the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has initiated the “Friends from Thailand (FFT)” Programme, which young Thai volunteers will be dispatched to work in Developing Countries according to their demand.
The objectives of the FFT programme are:

To strengthen cooperation and partnership for human development between Thailand and other partner countries through the FFT volunteers who work and closely interact with local communities and grass-root levels.

To exchange knowledge and experiences in different development sectors with other partner countries of Thailand.
Target Countries
The FFT volunteers with the age between 21-35, through the Royal Thai Embassy, will be initially assigned to work in the neighboring countries, namely Lao PDR., Vietnam, Cambodia and Myanmar and then it would be extended to embrace other developing countries : e.g. Timor Leste and Bhutan.
